Oral presentations have been assigned a 20 minute slot, except for the 5 invited speakers, who have 40 minutes for their talk. The timing of each presentation will be strict and every presenter will be asked to step down from the podium at the 19-minute mark. Prepare your presentation to last between 15 and 16 minutes, so that there is time for 3 to 4 minutes of questions. If the speakers exhausts their 19 minutes they will be requested to retire without any question asked. We expect that presentations will be in Powerpoint or pdf formats compatible with the Windows operating system. In a few weeks, instructions for how to upload your presentation will be posted.
Poster presentations will take place on the afternoons of Tuesday and Thursday right after lunch. Before the session starts, there will be an optional one-minute pitch in the plenary session for authors to entice attention to their posters, which can be supported with one slide. Posters will be on display the day of their presentation; authors cannot set up the posters earlier, and they will have to take them down at the end of the session. Instructions about the size of your poster are in a previous post, which can be read here.
